This is a temple which is located at Johor Bahru, Johor. This is also one of the famous temple in Johor Bahru. This temple be founded in year 1945. At the time was an Aunty Boo Sim dedicated to the 'Purple Bodhisattva' in her
residence at Jalan Tan Hock Ngee. And the people come to worship the good faith become more
and more, so the event space is not enough.
In1947 moved to the a wooden house at Jalan Stulang Laut, and
name the place as 'Sam Siang Keng'.
The people who worship to this temple keep increasing, the founder of the time - 'Fang
Miao Zhen' decided moved the temple to the lot donated by Tan Hock Siew, and continue to carry forward the faith of the Bodhisattva.
After
the approval of the relevant government authorities, Sam Siang Keng was established in 5 Octorber 1955 at Jalan Yahya Awal road.
