Arulmigu Sri Rajakaliamman Glass Temple (Part 2)


This temple is the 1st Glass temple in the World and located in Johor Bahru, Johor, Malaysia.


Before enter to the temple, visitors should put the shoes outside the temple, in the shoe rack. It is cost RM 0.50 for a basket. 






Not only that, this temple have sell some Indian's accessories that represent of their culture. Moreover, they also selling some culture snacks, and the money all will be donate for the temple.





Besides, tourists and visitors who want to take photo for the temple need to charge RM 3.00 for the photo taking for each camera or hand phone. However, for the video shooting is charging RM 5.00 for each shooting. 




This temple have the performing 'Ammavasai Maha Abishega Pooja' for every month at the temple. It is starting from 8.30pm till midnight.

Arulmigu Sri Rajakaliamman Glass Temple


Arulmigu Sri Rajakaliamman Glass Temple is not the 1st glass temple in Malaysia but in the world. It is located at Johor Bahru, Johor. Furthermore, this temple is famous for its mirror design. If you drop by Johor, this temple must be in your visit list.


This is the night view of the Glass Temple.





This first glass temple was built on 12 May 2010 and was listed in Malaysia Book of Record for being the only glass temple in Malaysia. We as Malaysian should be proud thar we have built the first glass temple not only in Asian, but in the world. No other countries has glass temple.


Normally, temples do not have air-condition in it but this glass temple is fully air-conditioned. It really makes us feel really comfortable.


There are green, blur, red, white, purple and yellow glass pieces that use to create colourful design of glass pieces as you can see the picture above.



This is the opening time of the temple, it will be charge for RM10 per person for foreigners Entrance Fee.

Rumah Berkala Sam Siang Keng (Part 2)

Rumah Berkala Sam Siang Keng is a temple located at Johor Bahru, Johor. 


In this temple have a God of ' Jiu Huang Ye'. They have celebration of 'Jiu Huang Ye's birthday. This will be a big celebration and it will starting on Chinese 27 August to Chinese 10 September.


They have the activities of divination and treat of vegetarian food on that day. People who come on that week can have the wish to pray and ask for help. 


People who got the wish from the God should back next year and give back the things that got it in last year. After that, prayers can ask for new wish in the next year again.

Rumah Berkala Sam Siang Keng


This is a temple which is located at Johor Bahru, Johor. This is also one of the famous temple in Johor Bahru.  This temple be founded in year 1945. At the time was an Aunty Boo Sim dedicated to the 'Purple Bodhisattva' in her residence at Jalan Tan Hock Ngee. And the people come to worship the good faith become more and more, so the event space is not enough.
In1947 moved to the a wooden house at Jalan Stulang Laut, and name the place as 'Sam Siang Keng'.
The people who worship to this temple keep increasing, the founder of the time - 'Fang Miao Zhen' decided moved the temple to the lot donated by Tan Hock Siew, and continue to carry forward the faith of the Bodhisattva.
After the approval of the relevant government authorities, Sam Siang Keng was established in 5 Octorber 1955 at Jalan Yahya Awal road.

Tian Di Deng Fu Bao Gong


This is a temple located in Johor Bahru, Johor. It is a medium of ' Da Er Ye Bo'. It can ask for business guidance, any sickness, personal fortune, family disturbed and child crying.






“Da Er Ye Bo” is also known as “Heibai Wuchang”. The most common history of “Heibai Wuchang” is both of them are the police of “Yamen” (Government Office). One day, since the criminal has escaped during escort, both of them decided to look for the criminal separately after discussion and promise to meet under the bridge.
Unexpectedly during the promise-time, since it was a heavy rain, “Xie Bi An” can’t meet “Fan Wu Jiu” under the bridge but “Fan Wu Jiu” still waiting for “Xie Bi An” even though the water level of river is keep rising. At the last, “Fan Wu Jiu” was drowned under the bridge since he didn’t want to break one's promise with “Xie Bi An” and due to this reason, the face of statue of “Fan Wu Jiu” is black colour.
When “Xie Bi An” arrived, he seen the death of “Fan Wu Jiu” and felt suffer extremely and thus death by hanging himself. Due to this good faith, Jade Emperor conferred both of them as underworld gods to assist Yama. Both of them have the others’ different history but the stories are much the same where “Fan Wu Jiu” was drowned while “Xie Bi An” death by hanging himself.
“God of Xie”: The face is white colour and wearing a pure white robe; wearing a top hat with the slogan of “Yi Jian Fa Cai” or “Yi Jian Sheng Cai” or “Yi Jian Da Ji”; his right hand hold “Huo Qian” while left hand hold “Zhi Yu Shan”
“God of Fan”: The face is black colour and wearing a pure black robe; wearing a square hat with the slogan of “Tian Xia Tai Ping”; his right hand hold “Zhi Yu Shan” while left hand hold square executive card “Jia Suo Lian” with the word of “Shan Er Fen Ming” or “Jiang Shan Fa Er”.

Saleng Jade Emperor Temple (Part 2)



Saleng Jade Emperor Temple at Kulai, Johor, have a celebration of welcome of 'God of Wealth'. It is an activity on Chinese New Year Eve annually.


There is a ‘God of Wealth' in the temple. Chinese people will always love of this God because it will bring some luck in money.

“God of Wealth” is one of the most famous gods in Taoism. Generally, “God of Wealth” is worshiped and received by most of the in household, companies and shops since they hope the “God of Wealth” brings wealth in their life. The most common “Gods of Wealth” in Taoism are Main Wealth God (“Zhao Gong Ming”), Civil Wealth God (“Fan Li”), Military Wealth God (“Guan Yu - Guan Yun Chang”), God of Wealth of the Five Directions (“Goki Choi Yun”) and Quasi-God of Wealth (“Liu Hai Chan”).
Main Wealth God - It is a well know god enshrines by the world and the most influential one is “Zhao Gong Ming”.
Civil Wealth God – “Fan Li” claim to be “Tao Zhu Gong” who is a Civil Wealth God. “Fan Li” was an outstanding politician, thinker, tactician and strategist and at the same time, he was also a person who expertly in money –making in spring and autumn period.
Military Wealth God – In legend, “Guan Yu - Guan Yun Chang” has managed military base before and he was expert in math. Since he act in good faith and be loyal to his brothers and thus enshrined by the business man. Generally “Guan Yu” is regarded by the business man as their patron saint and god of wealth in their life.
God of Wealth of the Five Directions – Civil and military wealth god are main wealth god in the folk, while outside of main wealth god has a “slant” god of wealth which is known as “Goki Choi Yun”.
Quasi-God of wealth – In the folk, among the beliefs in a numerous of wealth of god have a types of wealth of god call as Quasi-God of wealth which haven’t obtain the title of god of wealth; but since Quasi- God of Wealth can bring in a certain amount of wealth which has bear a part of duty of the god of wealth and thus regarded by the peoples as a god of wealth and the most representative one is “Liu Hai Chan”.

Saleng Jade Emperor Temple



Saleng Jade Emperor temple is located at Kulai, Johor. This temple founder in year 1979. The main god in this temple is Jade Emperror and also have others Heaven gods such as 'Wang Mu Niang Niang', Laughing God, ' NeZha' and 'Er Lang Shen'.








There are some celebration in this temple every year. For example, meet with God of wealth (Chinese New Year Eve's night), 'Qing Zhong Yuan' (Chinese 15/7) and Jade Emperror birthday (Chinese 5/11) For 5 days. Moreover, Jade Emperor has some god son and god daughter if u destined to be fancy.
